Cyber Resilience Support to the UK’s Nuclear Organisations
Global Resilience is supporting the Cabinet Office and the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy with the implementation of a new, resilient IT system to facilitate information exchange and to enhance cyber security. The initial implementation phase will see the UK’s nuclear organisations linked with the new capability to support business and user needs and to replace legacy systems with a common, secure IT infrastructure. These locations include: the Office for Nuclear Regulation, International Nuclear Services, National Nuclear Laboratories, Sellafield Limited, Civil Nuclear Constabulary and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.
Our responsibilities include: detailed analysis to understand the customer and supplier organisations; designing the Information Management structure and policy; and, training users in information management.
The work Global Resilience is undertaking will support a nationally consistent Information Management policy across central Government and other Government Departments.
